Editorial policy

Every page on Shayari Guru is held to the same short list of rules.

• Original lines only: no copied sher, lyrics, bhajans or lines from other websites.
• Clean script: correct Devanagari, with the same words in everyday Hinglish below.
• Lift, do not shame: motivation that encourages people and never mocks failure, poverty or struggle.
• Respect for every faith: devotional pages are written with respect for every faith. Each page speaks to its own devotees with love, never compares religions, never claims one is better, and never quotes scripture.
• Useful pages: each page explains where its lines fit, such as a status, a study desk note, a speech or a festival wish.
